About

The India Digital Health Network (IDHN) is hosting the Third Annual India Digital Health Innovation Workshop on January 6 and 7 in Bengaluru. This invitation-only event is co-hosted by St. John’s Research Institute, the India Digital Health Network at the Lakshmi Mittal South Asia Institute at Harvard University, Social Alpha’s Community Science Alliance, and Dell Technologies.

This two-day workshop brings together clinicians, public health experts, community health workers, community-based organizations, entrepreneurs, computer scientists, legal experts, and policy makers from across India’s digital health ecosystem, to examine the most pressing challenges facing digital health innovation and implementation.

Invited speakers include architects of the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission and Aadhar, India’s most successful public and private digital health programs, and digital health implementation science faculty from India and the US.

The workshop will:

  • Examine the ABDM architecture and pathways for catalyzing adoption
  • Learn how the first generation of Digital Health Innovation Labs were used to optimize one of the world’s largest digital health programs – India’s NCD screening programme
  • Explore clinical and population health needs in context of the latest digital health technologies being developed
  • Understand pathways for start-ups, hospital systems and health ministries to participate in the second generation of Digital Health Innovation Labs
