Dr. Caleb Dresser MD, MPH is an Emergency Medicine physician at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, an instructor at Harvard Medical School, and the Assistant Director of the Climate and Human Health Fellowship. He is also a Research Scientist at CrisisReady and affiliated with the FXB Center for Health and Human Rights and the Harvard Chan Center for Climate, Health, and the Global Environment.
Dr. Dresser’s work focuses on addressing health and healthcare needs during and after climate-related disasters, including heat waves, tropical cyclones, and wildfires. He is particularly interested in the long-term health impacts of these events, such as disrupted access to medical care and population mobility.
A graduate of the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, he completed his medical education at the University of Massachusetts Medical School and residency at the Harvard Affiliated Emergency Medicine Residency.
