Andrew Schroeder

Andrew Schroeder is the Co-Director of CrisisReady and Vice President of Research and Analysis at Direct Relief. His work focuses on GIS mapping, epidemiological mapping, and humanitarian informatics, advancing data-driven responses to public health emergencies and global crises.

Andrew co-founded the Covid-19 Mobility Data Network, a global collaboration dedicated to digital epidemiology during health emergencies, and is the co-founder and Board President of WeRobotics.org, a nonprofit building local capacity for robotics applications in humanitarian aid and global health across 30 countries. His research has been featured in Science, The Lancet, The New York Times, and Wired, and he has consulted for organizations such as UNDP and the World Food Programme.
